We also discuss what you should be looking for when you choose paint colors, how to paint with watercolor, and some tips on getting the look just right. We wrap things up with some questions and answers.
You might be wondering why we’re making a video about painting your house. It’s not because we have a love for it. We love the feeling of it, but we also love how simple it is to do. Just brush some paint on your walls, and you’ve got yourself a pretty good painting job, but you’re not giving up the comfort of having a surface that’s just a little bit cleaner than a regular wall.
Paint is one of those things that seems to have homeowners pretty stumped. I think it is because painting your home is one of those things if you get wrong, you can’t really hide it. Paint covers a lot of the surface of your home’s interior and exterior, so it will obviously impact your decor.
Buying or building a new home, you would think would eliminate the paint stress, but it can actually be the very thing that causes it. Among the many decisions that a new homeowner has to make during construction, choosing paint colors can be the most difficult. I know this because I get asked a lot, plus the Google search terms “Should I paint my new construction home?” is one of the most frequent ones that lead people to our website. It goes beyond just choosing colors.
Painting your home is a big deal – especially when you’re doing it yourself. The color of your walls, the level of finish you’re going for, everything comes into play. Some homeowners like to go with a more natural look, but once you start painting yourself, it can become exhausting. It can be hard to keep up when your paint dries more quickly than your wall gets painted.
In my own case, I usually go with a more natural look and I make sure to let the paint dry before I start to touch it. I do have to paint a couple of areas to “test” it, and even then I still have to paint more than I thought I would. I also tend to go with a lot of black and gray tones. I like that so much that I often make it my color scheme on my own blog.
I have to be honest with you here. I don’t even care for black as much as I’d like. It’s a color that makes you look like a little kid. In my defense, I have found that the black is not a bad color though, but it is difficult for me to find. It’s usually dark and heavy, and I think it’s because I have a lot of black in my hair.
Black is a color that is often associated with darkness, but it is not necessarily the same as black. It is a color with a dark undertone that makes it appear lighter than it is. Black is a color that is often associated with sexuality, but this is not a “black” color. Black is a color that is often associated with bad things. Black is a color that makes you look like a little kid.
