This is the most common question that I get asked in the salon. I recently decided to answer it here and also post my responses to the same question on Instagram.
Here’s the thing: I am not actually a big fan of semua semua (short for semiautomatically). I do not like the idea of “triggering” or “pivoting” my brain to some point of awareness, rather, I prefer to have my brain go into a steady state of awareness and get a handle on the things that I normally take for granted.
Yeah, that’s right. I don’t like the idea of triggering or pivoting my brain to some point of awareness. As a matter of fact, I’m not in the habit of doing that. I just think having my brain go into a steady state of awareness is a very natural thing. I don’t know why any of these people are always asking me about this. I don’t know why I always get the question. I think I have my answer.
The first time I heard the term “steady state,” I was in college and I was studying about the brain and was reading in one of the books that talked about the brain’s neurochemistry. I came across a sentence that I had no idea how to interpret. It was a sentence that I knew was correct, but I didn’t know why.
The answer to this is that we should be aware of our thoughts and the things that we are thinking. For example, when I go to sleep at night, I go to sleep having no idea what my next day will bring. I’m still awake at the time, but I don’t have a concrete idea of what my next day will be like. This is because the thoughts that I have while I’m awake are still present. These thoughts get stored in the brain.
Because our thoughts are still present, we subconsciously know that these thoughts will not be wrong. The brain just has a hard time determining what is wrong with us, so it does this by making wrong guesses. The mind is like a computer that is trying to make sense of the world around it. To see how it does this, consider the difference between a person with self-awareness and one without it.
Self-awareness means that you have the awareness to be aware of what you are doing. You have the awareness to say to yourself, “Hmm…” and “Hmm…”, and to do that is self-awareness. As you make wrong guesses about how things work, your brain makes wrong guesses about what you are doing. Self-awareness is a good enough thing, but it’s not enough.
Self-awareness is an important one. Self-awareness is the most important one, because without it we make wrong guesses about things and we make wrong guesses about what to do. Without self-awareness we make wrong guesses about what we are doing and what we should be doing. Self-awareness allows us to be aware of the world around us, to see who’s doing what to whom, and to ask questions about those things.
We need to be aware of the world around us. We need to be aware of who is doing what to whom. We need to ask about what we are doing. The point of Self-awareness is to make us aware of the world around us. It is the first step to self-knowledge. It is the first step to taking control.
