By You probably would have never guessed that this was the song that was playing on the radio when I started to dance. I never thought in a million years that I would be dancing to this song. That’s what happens when you start to think about things.
The fact is, I’ve always loved the song. My parents had a radio in the living room and I had my favorite songs playing all the time. When I was little it was all we listened to. In high school, I played the music in my locker, my bedroom, and my room all the time. The first time I saw the band was when their song “The Look” played in a movie.
I love playing songs that have been on my playlist for years, and they make my day. My favorite is “My First Dance”. It’s not necessarily a song that I sing when I’m playing to myself, but I’m sure that by now everyone knows the song.
After years of being in the band, the song really resonates with me. It was the song that made me fall in love with the band. It was my first time hearing The Look and I was a little hesitant at first, but the song eventually made it clear to me that they were amazing musicians and that I should go see them sooner rather than later.
